Thank you very kindly for turning me into a wise owl. I'm definitely going to have to return this favor one of these days if I can figure out a good plot involving chickens.

They'll be able to see the Tower clearly once it's finished, because it was originally painted in a very bright orange color, which some people used it as a way to ridicule them.

And if they see a rather short man illustrating the night life, that would be Toulouse-Lautrec.

David, it was the least that I could do—the chickens and I appreciate you so very much. Not only do you read everything we send share, but you also teach us new words like “Tuckerized.” We didn’t know about the original bright orange on the Eiffel Tower! (But we did know that the color has changed quite a few times over the years.) And if you know Pearl as well as I think you do, you know she has a flair for wild and crazy dancing. (Pearl does know you and your work very well!) The Moulin Rouge and Toulouse-Lautrec sould in a future chapter. I made that illustration quite a long time ago. A dancer’s white petticoats and Pearl’s white fluff feathers do indeed seem very similar! And I’m sure she will be able to dance and entertain for the drawing supplies that are needed to solve their current problem. I think it’s great that you are giving us all a “heads up” to know what to look for (just as David the Barn Owl) would do. This makes us feel as if you are actually on this journey with us! We thank YOU!
