Early for the Father’s Day Weekend (Or “Chicken Daddy Day” in our Backyard Garden World)

Hi, Everyone! If you haven’t already done this, you may want to wander over to My Life With Gracie Press. It is the renamed old My Life With Gracie website. It contains a page for the Cast of Characters that have been developed for our newest series, The Hardy Hens.

To be honest, it’s considerably clearer there and uses organization and color for text that are not currently allowed on Substack. We did this on My Life With GraciePress because there are still some readers of that website who did not choose to transition over to following us on Substack or The Perfect Spot. Personally, Pearl and I enjoy the warm, nostalgic feeling we get whenever we visit My Life With GraciePress. It’s where all of this started almost 7 years ago!

You Know We Have To Do This Since We Almost Always Do!

Here is our working cover for the first book in The Hardy Hens Series and it is titled “The Feathered Cipher.”

This doesn’t have a prominent series title and book number like so many books in a series do. It also strays from the basic format of the vintage Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew covers that you may recall. BUT it should grow in greater visual recognition as additional titles are released. I’m not sure how I feel about showing the villain on the cover. It may ruin the mystery’s surprise. Comments are greatly appreciated!

Here is an example of a more vintage appearing cover that uses a different title that follows the old basic format for vintage Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew covers that you may recall.
